Founded by half blind leader, Shoko Asahara who’s real name Chizuo Matsumoto), the group launched a coordinated Tokyo subway attack using the chemical agent, sarin, in 1995. This caused 13 deaths, thousands of injuries and many painful after effects. #2 Cecil Hotel Los AngelesFirst opening its doors in 1927, the Cecil Hotel has since become renown worldwide – not exactly for the service or quality but instead for its checkered and eerie past. Construction for the hotel began in 1924 under the financing of William Hanner. He envisioned it as a destination for tourists and business travellers, designing it in the Beaux Arts style with a stunning art deco marble lobby and stained glass windows.Support the show
