And you came and blame me for wanting to use another mic that because if that backup mic doesn't work, well, I'm going to have the same problem I had before. That's my cheeky way of talking about what the hell happened today against

the Cincinnati Reds. Twins lose the day, Judd, they get swept by Cincinnati. They were three outs

away from at least salvaging this series. In fact, consecutive games now Saturday and Sunday,

where they took multi-run leads entering the seventh inning. Yesterday, the Reds just slowly kind

trickled away at it. Today, the Twins took that 3-1 lead into the bottom or the top of the ninth. Andrew Morris was out there with, I think, 28 pitches at that point. He's the only one up. No one else is warming behind him until eventually they had to get Garrett Acton up. The Reds battleback. They're deep.

They're plucky.

They get in the corners.

Very, very, very hockey.

He thought I was doing Judd's hockey show with me in the press box. I said, you do that with AJ. You don't got to do that with Dex. We don't do that anymore. They do that. They dig it at the puck. Pucks deep. Balls deep.

But the twins implode.

Bullpen and defense.

We can get to the defense here in a bit,

but it's one thing to, you know,

string together a stretch of games there where the twins swept the tigers and they won, what, I think, seven of eight coming into last week. But if you don't have a bullpen and if you can't play at least remotely sound to average defense, going to have a pretty bad time. Well, let's talk about the shame of this.
