The Blue Scorpion felt like great Twilight Zone, just as all the new episodes mostly have. I love the cinematography, the sets, the atmosphere, the acting, the direction, the characters. I also love

the music, especially in this episode, but another thing that really connects the original series

to this new one is the opening and closing narrations.

Really the opening narration of this one, I really saw a little irreverence, like a little

glimmer that was very Serling-esque that kind of said, this is a serious show.

We're dealing with serious stuff.

This is suspense.

This is thought thoughtfully done,

but don't forget to have some fun. Don't take, you know, don't take the world so seriously that you fail to enjoy it, you know, and that's a pretty complicated and advanced and unique thing that I can see in both

Sterling's narrations and in Peels and something I really love.

So this episode, like replay, was sort of a throwback to the old episodes where an object
