Hello everyone and welcome to This week in fantasy baseball. I'm Lee Keller, joined by John Cah. In this episode, we are going to recap some of the hitter and pitcher performances

from this past week, tell you about the latest news around baseball, and of course, give all

of you some streamer recommendations at the end

of the show. But before we get into that good stuff, John, how's the week been?

It's been a little nerve-wracking in terms of fantasy baseball for me. I'm in the first round of

my playoffs, and we still have technically another week to go because this playoff round ends the Sunday after the all-star break.

So got a few more games there. I'm currently up 8-4, which is nice, but it does not feel safe ever in the playoffs.

And then I'm also in the guillotine league through pitcher list, I basically survived the last two uh chops just like kind of

last second to last or third to last and uh I'm clearly the worst team in in the group but I'm hoping

I can maybe eke out a win we'll see um my team has always kind of performed just enough but um yeah it's a

it's a little scary and in geese leading especially coming with the uh especially with the all

star break come up it kind of feels like there's just going to be four days where i'm just wondering like

is my team any good am i going to survive the weekend so um yeah a lot of fun fun fun, fun high-stakes fantasy baseball in the middle of July.

That's definitely nerve-wracking, especially because, once again, the viewers that haven't been

listening for a while don't understand that your playoffs are so early in your home league

that they might be like, wait, what, playoffs?

I'm in week 15.
