Hello everyone and welcome to This Week in Fantasy Base baseball. I'm Lee Keller, joined by John Kuh. In this last episode of this week in fantasy baseball for the 2022 season, we will talk about

the injury notes and roster moves, highlight the best player performances from the past week,

and discuss how our first year of hosting the podcast went.

But John, how was your week?

Well, twins officially got eliminated.

So, you know, officially have nothing to look forward to in terms of play of baseball.

But it was, I mean, it was all right.

I got to see a Shoah O'Hanee pitch on Friday.

He walked a lot of people because it was cold and wet in Minnesota, so I just wasn't able to get a good group on the ball. Command was all over the place. But still, you know, fun to see a guy hit and then immediately take off the bag on the bagels because he needs to go on the mound the next inning. So that's not something you get to witness every day. So, yeah, glad I was able to at least watch Otani in person. How about you? It was a pretty good week. A lot of flares and dramatics with the Mets and the Braves watching that whole race go back and forth. So that was interesting. I actually had some vested interest in the game that you went to. I actually picked up Taylor Ward in, I think, two different leagues. And he had two homers and I came. Two solo homers, yeah. Yeah. So that was pretty cool for me, but not for your twins, obviously. It was really funny because we had a local kid, Louis Varland pitch. He went to college in St. Paul. Um, but you know, big, big hometown crowd, obviously for the guy.

And then Taylor Ward just comes up and then shuts up the crowd with a solo homer to the second deck.

It was just like, oh, yeah, it's one of those games.

It always seems that way when you're like, oh, come on, go local kid go, and then he just gets hammered.
