I'm John Cah, and I'm not joined by Patrick Fitzgerald, usually. We're actually joined by Josh Shaw, a pitcherless writer. Just we're going to talk about his recent patience or panic article. And then as usual, we'll cover our latest news and notes around baseball, recap a few hitter and pitcher performances from the past week, along with streamer recommendations at the end of the show.

I'm good. As we're talking pre-show, I'm a Mets fan, and that's going to come up again.

We get to Brett Beatty. I feel very passionate about Brett Beatty. So it's been a good day to actually be like, oh, my team won a baseball game.

It's been two full calendar weeks, but they finally won a game.

And then for context, we're recording as the twins and the Mets are playing.

Joe Ryan is slowly falling apart right now.

He's getting up five years and runs. Luis Robert Jr. is up to bat, who I cut from one of my team. So clearly that means he's about to hit a three-round homer here. Clearly, that's what's going to happen. I had a very similar feeling last night when it was, I can't believe we're going to do a full Mets, Twins, D for like the two people, you know, that really care about that. But Luke Weaver's in and it's like, all right, the Mets just need one more out. Yeah. And I'm like, I know Byron Buckson, who has hit a home run in that game and then a home run the game before he's going to come up and they got to conquer this dragon to slay the other dragon. And then they did it. And it was fire goes out behind Weaver. It was kind of weird. It's kind of

things that you know extremely infuriating but one game could kind of change your whole day for

better or for worse right that's just kind of yeah the joke right it's like one game out of 162, every fan is just hanging on by how one game is decided as opposed to like, oh, that's right.

This is going to barely affect what the final standings are going to be.

Except in my case, I now have to or else the playoffs, like the playoffs are like a razor-s thin edge now,

and it's like every game actually matters.

Yeah, yeah.

Well, I mean, it's a weird thing with the NLE East this year, obviously, you guys.
