I'm Johnica, joined as always by my co-host, Patrick Fitzgerald.

This episode's a little bit of a grindback episode.

Spring training is starting.

We've got some news, some injury news that we need to talk through.

And we've got a little bit of a mailbag episode as well.

But before we could get into all that, Patrick, how are you doing? Hey, John, I'm doing pretty well. I've been enjoying the Winter Olympics before they come to a close this weekend. And we got Orioles first spring training game tomorrow against the Yankees. So I'm looking forward to that. Trevor Rogers on the mound and just hoping that not too many other guys get hurt because a little bit of a bumpy start already in that respect.

How about you? Doing well, yeah, same. Watching a lot of Olympics. Today was the gold medal game

between the women's hockey Team USA versus Canada, which was a really fun game to watch.

That was really good.

But yeah, it's kind of weird that that's coming to a close.

And then I think in what a couple weeks,

we've got World Baseball Classic coming up as well.

So international competition still coming on.

Yeah, I believe the Twins play, the Red Sox is in there for a spring training game on Saturday.

Unfortunately, that we're already out our ace to start the season. So we'll talk about that in a little bit. But yeah, spring training is not going so great for the Twins right now. Yeah, there was a day last week where the hits just kept on coming, you know, all those press conferences, GMs delivering all that bad news you don't want to.

Right, exactly. And, you know, just kind of some random things. Like, for example, oh, who was it?

Coming out of Colorado, right? It was a signing or there was news? Oh, no, it was, oh, yeah, Chris Bryant.

Basically just saying, oh, yeah, he's not coming back for at least the first half of 2026, which like, I don't think anyone was necessarily like, yeah, I feel like I can trust Chris Bryant to like be a centerpiece in my fantasy baseball team this season, but nonetheless.

Yeah, just like random things like that where guys are just getting put on the 60DIL,

and there wasn't like any news about them previously.
