I'm John Cod, joined by my co-host Patrick Fitzgerald.

In this episode, we are going to go over our recent mock draft in the 2026PL podcast, mock draft, I guess.

There was an article about that on pitch list, so you can definitely check that out and follow along with the draft link there.

I believe the screenshot from that draft is up.

So yeah, we'll do that and just talk about what our thoughts are on the drafting for 2026.

What are the difficulties?

What are maybe the positions that you could wait on?

What are some interesting insights that we got from going through that mock draft

in basically while the World Series series was happening. But before we get us all that, Patrick,

how are you doing? Hey, John, I'm doing pretty well. Glad to be back on the podcast after a little

bit of time off. Looking forward to going over the draft. I'd be lying if it said it didn't,

if I said it didn't make me tempted to do some real drafts in my own, but I'm resisting the temptation so far. And yeah, enjoying the little break from baseball, but also hoping that free agency gets going, I'd love for my Orioles to make a big splash or two. So, you know, we'll see what happens. But yeah, it's been a little different with no baseball in our lives, but still, you know, still plenty of things to keep up with.

How are you?

I'm doing all right. Yeah,

basically since, what, game seven, two weeks ago about about this point now. It's been, yeah,

it's been kind of weird not having any sort of baseball action having it going on, but twins,

of course, are doing some stuff.

We picked up a new manager, so we'll see how that works out.

And supposedly the twins want to compete next year, so we'll see how that goes, too.

But, yeah, keeping myself busy with just other sports, obviously basketball and football, hockey,
