We took a small break there for pitchcon, but we are back, and I'm your host, Jonka.

I'm joined today by pitchers writer, and at this point, I think this was maybe your fourth or fifth time on the podcast.

I kind of stopped counting.

But Fantasy writer at pitcherless, Nate Schwartz. Welcome back to the show, Nate. How's it going?

Doing great. Thanks for always having me on, John. It's always a pleasure to come on this week in fantasy baseball.

Yeah. We were just talking before we started recording about our respective teams off seasons of course i'm a

twins fan uh you're the misfortune of being a cardinals fan uh how's that whole uh offseason been going for you

i mean you only beat me out or beat us out by two weeks on signing a free agent so you know it's the same

despair of you know 78 to 83 wins and,

you know, hopefully the right guys make you want to tune in for 162 games. But I feel like the

fan base is on full-on implosion mode, but I'm just excited. It's almost baseball time.

And there's, you know, I will always be tuning in to watch Jordan Walker hit,

and I hope that, you know, Quinn Matthews

and maybe like a Cooper Jerpy or Tink Hens come up this year

and really start exciting things about the future.

Yeah, it feels like that's kind of been a lot of focus on the future for the last

like two, three years for the Cardinals. And like we've seen some guys come up, but it always

feels like we're just waiting for the prospects, like really kick in for that team. And maybe

this is the year that Jordan Walker goes off. We'll see. Yeah, it's, uh, they've always been so

lucky with Albert and Waino and all of the devil magic they had,
