0:29.3	Well, 20 years ago, Bill Clinton was in office.
0:33.0	Mark Zuckerberg was in high school.
0:36.2	Amazon was a forest in South America. And John O'Leary, yes,
0:41.8	John O'Leary was a single man having dinner with an old friend. You see, after years of asking a
0:50.2	girl named Beth out repeatedly and years of being rejected repeatedly with the same lame
0:56.9	excuse. John, you're like a brother to me. I don't want to ruin our friendship. I finally had given
1:04.0	a pursuing her for my own self-interest and finally had surrendered to just simply enjoying our time
1:10.1	together. No more pursuing her as a girlfriend
1:13.3	or for any other motive. I finally, and must admit this, reluctantly accepted what the relationship was
1:21.4	and embraced the times we had together and found that it was enough. In fact, it was more than enough.
1:29.0	It became a blast.
1:30.6	We became even better friends.
1:32.5	We spent even more time together,
1:34.3	and we enjoyed that time together even more.
1:37.5	Which is why I was so surprised 20 years ago this week
1:41.5	to find myself at dinner when Beth told me she had something to ask me.
1:46.6	She then took a mighty, massive sip from her glass of wine.
