Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the sweet word yesterday morning that continues to linger in my heart. My peace I give to you, my

peace I leave with you, not as the world gives to you. Let not your heart be troubled,

neither let it be afraid.

So I'm thankful, Lord Jesus, that you are a peaceful God,

and that in you your peace is made over to us

and that we don't have to be afraid of anything,

anything. So grant that there would be a sweetness of restful

freedom right now from anxiety in this room.

Some of these people are heading home to some really tough things.

And I pray that right now they would enjoy an oasis to drink at your word again so that they would

have resources deeper than they ever dreamed for walking into what they're about to face.

So come and do more than I can imagine across this room, I ask in in Jesus name, amen.

So I said last night the repetition was good for us.

When I was asked about where did desiring God come from. I wondered what am I supposed to do in 25 years of desiring God?

And here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to take the first part of the message and

re-say what I've been saying for 25 or 30 or 40 years

since those formative years of 17 to 24.

And then I'm going to do a section at the end,

really at least half the message of what's happened in recent years to

refine my thinking about these things what's's newer, what's fresh, what's
