Four minutes after ten, I think my inbox is currently divided almost equally between jokes about

the Battle of the Somme and jokes about Magna Carta dying in vain, which is two days running

actually that Tony Hancock, who was before my time really, but obviously still holds a sway

over much of the population. I think that's two days running that Tony Hancock's

comedy has come jostling to the forefront of our minds. Yesterday it was in a context of blood

donation, wasn't it? And blood in how much blood there is in a body and his old, that's about a
