It's a baking competition show for people who don't even like cooking shows.

Although, to be totally honest, I love cooking shows.

But you want to know why I love Great British Baking Show?

It's a competition where you can see the best in people.

Even though each baker is competing against each other,

you see them repeatedly pulling together, helping one another out,

whether it's flipping a cake over to cool, or just to stop and tell them they're doing a great job.

I really love this show.

There are three competitions each week within the show.

The most stressful one being a blind baking challenge.

Basically, the competitors have to bake something that the judges request,

but they receive little to no instruction.

So they might get a list of ingredients, but no amounts or no cooking times. The instructions are sketchy at best. So these

Some fussy Swedish cake that no one has baked since the 1920s or a complicated Italian rolls.
