another episode of The Weekender, a mini episode to help you end your week on the right note.

This week I shared the first half of my interview with Marshawn Evans-Daniels. In her book,

Believe Bigger, she talks about the way we talk to ourselves. She says we have two voices that we hear

in our heads, little me and future me. Little me is the voice of fear, that devious little voice

that pollutes our inner confidence by whispering doubt, worry,

and hesitation. Future Me is the voice that says, let's try this. So Little Me is there saying,

who in the world do you think you are? And Future Me says, go for it. I actually changed up my

plan this week for the mini episode because I noticed

little me whispering to some of you this week. So I wanted to take some time to talk about it.

As you know, my course has opened for enrollment for a short time. And when this happens,

I get a lot of emails, lots of excitement, lots of questions, and lots of

questioning. How can I possibly spend money on myself for this course? I could never spend money

like this on something for myself. And my favorite? Oh, it's too expensive. You should charge

less. Marshawn says we have to identify when

little me is running wild in the corridors of our minds and meddling with our beliefs.

And I see that thread running through a lot of the emails I get. Questions that at their heart are

saying, am I good enough? Do I deserve this? And the answer is, yes. Now, I'm not saying

you have to say yes to my course. That's a decision that's up to you. But yes, you are good enough.
