Hello, hello, everyone.

This is Tanya Dalton, owner of Inquell Press, and I'm here to give you another episode of The Weekender, a mini episode to help you end your week on the right note.

I tried to listen to the podcast and couldn't.

It felt so stiff and wooden, not at all conversational.

Also, no one wants homework in a podcast. I read those words on a comment recently, and I'm sure you can imagine how I felt. I feel like I have a pretty thick skin. You have to when you own your

own business because you can get some pretty rough emails from time to time. I often think people

would be shocked at some of the ugly emails I receive. But somehow this one struck a chord.

Okay, you hate the free downloads and you think my personality sucks got it oh and apparently you speak for

everyone here in that no one wants the exercises i work so hard to create and design this podcast like

everything i do is incredibly personal i feel like i share pieces of myself on here sometimes that

are about my own struggles and frustrations.

So this note struck me deep, like a personal attack on who I am.

I felt wounded and asked John about 20 times if I sounded wooden and stiff.

And he reminded me to go and read my reviews on iTunes,

with the notes from so many of you about what

this podcast means to you and how it's helped. He reminded me that some of you had sent beautiful

handwritten notes and holiday cards because of what I do. But why is it one ugly word,

one cutting remark can make us question ourselves in everything we do?

Marchand, who was on the show this week, shared in her book, Believe Bigger that

It's Not Easy. When you focus on your purpose, you will face judgment and possibly rejection.

Amen, sister. She is so right. John also reminded me that when you put yourself out there,

when you allow so many people in, there's bound to be a few who want to knock you down just to see you
