0:21.9	chatter I've been seeing online. Now, last week I touched on the death of Renee Good in Minneapolis.
0:28.7	Obviously, this is an extremely sensitive topic and people on both sides of the political
0:33.8	spectrum feel passionately about their perspective or interpretation of what exactly
0:39.1	happened on January 7th. That's not what I want to touch on, though, in this moment. What I want
0:45.2	to address are rumors online about custody issues and child abuse allegations involving Renee Good
0:51.7	and her wife, Rebecca. At this time, I have not seen any
0:57.3	authenticated court filings or credible public records that substantiate those claims. And at least
1:04.0	one viral rap sheet, if you will, of a screenshot is being shared as proof. And that has actually been debunked and fact-checked as
1:14.0	false. So, you know, many of you who are loyal listeners of mine probably know where I stand
1:19.4	when it comes to politics in general. However, it is not my goal to sway anyone who listens to
1:26.7	my podcast to either agree with me, nor is it my goal
1:30.7	to ostracize anyone who simply disagrees with me on a topic, least of all politics.
1:36.8	One thing I take pride in is trying to see the best in people until they show me otherwise.
1:41.7	I don't assume anything about anyone solely based on who
1:45.7	or what they vote for, but I believe that the way you treat people, especially strangers,
1:51.7	speaks volumes. And one thing I'm definitely not going to tolerate is people who leave hate just to be
1:57.6	hateful. So I've been called disgusting. I've been compared to a Nazi.
2:03.6	I mean, it is just like insane rhetoric given my viewpoint, which I think actually is pretty
2:10.3	center most of the time, maybe right leaning on some things, but left leaning on others.
