0:59.7	We have Aaron Vleck with us, who if you're a fan of the show, you've heard her work before.
1:04.4	So why don't we start off with the case of the Yuletide Bride, which was part of the Jeffrey Sykes Vermilion universe. We did one prior
1:12.9	to that, the case of the Black Lodge. And then, of course, for Christmas, we did the case of the
1:16.9	Yuletide Bride. And we have coming up this season, the case of the Sigmint Ring. So let's talk
1:22.6	a little bit about the case of the Yuletide Bride and maybe some of the inspiration for that story and, you know,
1:28.1	how it ties into the larger world of Jeffrey Sykes-Vermillion. I know it's the first time we meet.
1:33.4	Audrey Hawkewood. I was going to say Lockwood, but I knew that wasn't right. It's Hawkewood.
1:37.8	So it's the first time we meet Audrey. And, of course, we've already met his other associate as part of the case of the Black Lodge.
1:45.5	So he has kind of this entourage that he's traveling with in a way, I guess.
1:49.9	Exactly. And Audrey is, this story is pretty much, it's set in Audrey's family estate in upstate New York at Christmas time.
2:01.6	And the only two, along with her family and other Asundry characters, Sykes Vermilion and Audrey are the only two from the occult detective world, shall we say.
2:15.6	And Audrey is a young girl. She's a young woman,
2:19.4	but she's just become Vermilions assistant, if you will. She started out as his secretary
2:27.9	and proved that she was worthy to the task. So we're getting to meet this new member of the party, Audrey,
2:36.0	and finding out a little bit about her and a little close-up of what she's made of.
2:43.0	Also, it's a Christmas story. I absolutely adore mystery Christmas stories,
2:49.0	so it gave me an opportunity to play with something I've been wanting to play with for a long time.
2:54.6	And I love Christmas, so it was perfect.
2:57.8	Yeah, and we get a chance to kind of visit the gin, which I know has been part of your work as well over the years.
