The data are in and now it appears clear that Omicron is in fact a milder form of the

COVID-19 virus than previous strains.

You think the positive development would lead to a loosening of restrictions imposed due

to Omicron hysteria?

Of course, you'd be wrong.

It seems the government of bureaucrats are intent on doubling down to the mandates that

failed to work in the first place.

Now why is this going on?

They're telling you it's because of Omicron, a new variant of the COVID-19 virus that

was identified first in South Africa.

But the problem with that line of reasoning is that so far from what we know, the Omicron

variant is in fact a milder form of the disease.

So why is there any kind of panic associated with that?

That doesn't seem to make any sense.

Here is Angelique Coatsy, chair of the South African Medical Association, saying that

Omicron is a pretty mild disease based on the data they have so far.
