The fate of Roe vs. Wade is on the line, not to mention millions of unborn babies.

With Supreme Court today hearing oral arguments in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health

Organization.

That question is whether or not a Mississippi law that bans abortions after 15 weeks of

pregnancy is a violation of federal law.

We'll take a look at the arguments and how the justices responded in tonight's Hold

the Line.

It's as big a decision as you will see in the Supreme Court in our lifetimes and it looks

as though it will happen sometime in June of 2022.

Is Mississippi's restriction on abortion based upon the amount of time a baby has been in

the womb is it constitutional?

But that issue here of course is what about the entire framework of Roe v. Wade and of

Planned Parenthood v. Casey and other decisions the Supreme Court has handed down in the past

that fabricated and I do believe that is the correct term even if it's not the one that

is technically in usage all the time.

A right to abortion when one does not exist nor is it even addressed in the constitutional

framework in any way.

Well here is the Mississippi Solicitor General Scott Stewart making his opening statement

and it was a powerful one.

Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey haunt our country.

They have no basis in the Constitution, they have no home in our history or traditions.
