President Joe Biden announced the United States will be banning the importation of Russian

oil and gas in response to the Russian's offensive in Ukraine.

Announcement comes on the same day, the price of gas hits an all-time record high in this

country.

So what does that mean for you?

Two weeks into this conflict and already we're doing things that the outset people said,

that might be too far.

I don't think we want to get that involved.

One of those areas has to do with the financial warfare, if you will, against Russia involving

sanctions and specifically going after the Russian oil and gas sector.

President Biden spoke this morning and announced that, yeah, the U.S. at least is going to ban

Russian oil and gas.

Yeah, I'm announcing the United States is targeting the main artery of Russia's economy.

We're banning all imports of Russian oil and gas and energy.

That means Russian oil will no longer be acceptable at U.S. ports and the American people will

deal another powerful blow to Putin's war machine.

This is a move that has strong bipartisan support, the Congress and I believe in the country.

America's of rally support, have rallied to support the Ukrainian people and made it clear

we will not be part of subsidizing Putin's war.
