The Russian military has begun a brutal assault on the people of Ukraine.

Without provocation, without justification, without necessity, this is a premeditated attack.

A major invasion is underway of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Putin has decided to ignore all the warnings of diplomacy and the economic

sanctions that have already been taken against this country to go in with a three-pronged

assault by sea, land, and air from the north, the east and the south of Ukraine to take

territory and to smash the Ukrainian military and government as fast as he can.

As you can see here, there is fighting, there is ongoing hostilities all over Ukraine

right now.

A lot of the forces, the primary forces of the Russians have deployed coming in for fighting

in and around Kiev, as well as Karkeev, Kiev, also known as Kiev.

So you have major cities, the site of some of the fighting that has already been done

and just getting started.

There you see on the screen, Russian aerial attack going on.

They try to seize airfields, important critical infrastructure sites.

Overall this is the scenario that the world, the international community, NATO, and of course

us here at home in America wanted to avoid a war in Europe once again.

Biden is saying that this is unfolding largely as his administration predicted.
