It's a rebuilding year.

You ever hear a coach talk like that?

The ever-year fans talk like that.

Teams sucked it up last year.

Maybe you did well, but then you lost all your good players and out's a rebuilding year.

Well, that's normal.

That's life.

People go through cycles, sports teams go through cycles, political parties go through

cycles, and there's simply no question the Republican Party is in a really down cycle.

Anyway, you slice it.

Three of the last four terms of the presidency, Democrats.

Democrats hold the Senate.

Our red wave that should have been in the midterm was an absolute pathetic embarrassment.

The party continues to pass bad bill after bad bill working with Democrats.

This party is broken, lost, and rotted, and we needed to get a whole heck of a lot better

if you and I are going to have any chance of saving this country.

So what's that look like?

How do we rebuild?

What needs to change?

I mean, the list is very, very long.
