I don't know, guys, am I going to play?

Am I not going to play?

What am I going to do?

Mass.

Now, Mas, you stupid.

S-T-O-O-O.

It's time for Felger and Mass, presented by Draft Kings on 985, the Sports Hub.

All right, just, you know, resetting the Bruins thing here again, because Rask did speak today, part of Bruins' training training camp and said there's nowhere else he wants to play

0:39.0

and Maz thinks

0:41.4

that might have even meant that the Bruins

0:43.4

tried to trade him and he turned it down by threatening

0:45.3

to retire. That that's

0:47.1

possible that that's what that comment means

0:49.2

that Rask is trying to tell you something that

0:51.3

you know maybe the Bruins did try

0:53.4

to move on and he he peed in the pool by threatening to retire. So, but I think he means that going forward, and, you know, he's comfortable here. I don't think he hears the criticism. He's not like one of these guys' masks, that, you know, here's the chirping, here's the fans, has notices on his phones that alert him when people are talking about him. I think he's oblivious. I don't think he cares. I mean, for crying out loud, the guy quit on his team in the middle of a playoff run, went home for a family emergency and then hit the golf course. I don't think he cares one bit. So, like, he likes it here. His family's comfortable here.

1:28.6

He gets paid well, and he's oblivious to the criticism. So, like, I mean, why would he want to go somewhere else? I don't, I mean, like, I get that. Why would they want him? And why would they bring him back after the way that thing went down and after, you know, the track record here of him being a good regular season goalie and, you know, bringing you to the water, but never really drinking with the guy, if you know what I mean. And it's like, you know, so on one hand, I say, why is he still here? But on the other hand, I look at the fact that Halak is still next to him, and I say to myself, well, they don't have the next guy. They don't have the next guy. If any of these young guys in Providence, whether it's Vlodar or Swamen or whatever young player that they've got coming up through the system, if they felt that that player was the next guy or anywhere close to being ready, he'd be the number two this year, knocking at the door, spelling Rask, and getting ready for the transition.

2:19.5

And the fact that Halak is still here at 30-whatever years old tells me they don't have the next guy.

2:25.5

So that's sort of, you know, be careful what you wish for.
