I'm Pete joined by Darius and Mike.

And the Laker's lost a hard fought game yesterday, 121 to 109.

It was competitive.

Lakers defended well in the first half.

Then in the third quarter, Memphis scored 47 points.

John Moran having 28 of them himself and the better team with

more talent won the game. Memphis moved to 26 and 5 at home on the year and it

was a good game for the Lakers with respect to we competed and in terms of

figuring out what this kind of new group is with the new guys but without LeBron. It was I think a great game of tape for the coaches to be able to watch

and draw conclusions from really missing ball handlers though, Mike. Hard to survive, I didn't

see the final box score, but it was like 26 to 6 in turnovers at one point.

Lakers really struggled with their ball pressure and ball denial.

And yeah, when the other team gets 20 more shots at the rim, it's hard to make up for the math elsewhere.
