of his very real presence in your life. Well, we've talked plenty on this show about how God

takes our deepest pain and he turns it into a platform from which we declare God's goodness,

his grace, and his ability to work all things together for the good of those who love him

and are called according to his purpose. Well, today you're going to hear one such story. Vascular surgeon and father to an amputee, Dr. Greg Ekbaum, joins me today to share his story

about how God used some devastating losses in his life, to propel him into a global ministry

that's changing everything for those he touches, and even how God has taken his mourning,

the ashes from his pain, and turn it into joy and glory and goodness and an anticipation of good things to come.

In fact, I ask you to spend time asking God to show you who in your life

you need to forgive. Maybe you've got a little grudge. Maybe you've got all out bitterness. Whatever it is,

take this time to ponder what God has given you, ponder his mercy that he's extended to you and

release it out to those who need it. And we actually have a day of forgiveness like we did last year.

It was so powerful.
