0:45.0	And we're going to have a little dialogue about the season ahead.
0:49.6	And so my first question to you, Jim, is who is our next mystic?
0:54.8	And why did you choose them?
0:57.1	Yes, the next mystic in our series is Guigo the Second.
1:03.4	And Guigo the Second was a monk who lived in France in the 12th century.
1:10.1	And the work of his that we'll be looking at is called a Ladder of Monks.
1:18.4	Ladder for monks.
1:20.2	And it's a letter that he wrote as a monk, a prior of a monastic monastery,
1:26.0	to a friend of his who was prior of a monastic monastery.
1:29.9	So these are two monks kind of corresponding with each other.
1:35.5	And Guigo the Second is not nearly as well known as the mystics we've looked at so far.
1:41.6	So Thomas Merton, St. John of the Cross, Trees of Abelow.
