Now, if you're new here, I've lost 125 pounds myself

after an entire adulthood of chronic yo-yo dieting, up, down, up, down again, before I finally

got sick and tired of being sick and tired, and I made some permanent, meaningful, and actual

changes to my lifestyle, habit, routines, to my environment, to my community, and to my system of

beliefs. It's because all of those create me, by the way. They all create you too. And I have

been keeping that weight off. That is the most important part because you see, it is not just

enough to lose the weight. You've got to lose it and keep it off forever.

Because I, ugh, yo-yo dieting sucks.

And I was getting sick and tired of taking round-trip tickets to Thinville,

and I wanted to move there and make a permanent home base.

And move on from all this struggle.
