Summary

Dharmesh Sheth is joined by Charlie Wyett, Dominic King and Carl Anka to reflect on the weekend’s sporting action.

We start with Liverpool’s much needed victory against Aston Villa; the shocking run is over, but is this a real turning point for Liverpool?

Attention then shifts to Arsenal’s win at Burnley. Charlie praises Gyokeres’ impressive first half, and after a ninth win and seventh consecutive clean sheet, Carl suggests stopping Arsenal is going to be very hard.

Then we turn to an unhappy Sean Dyche, after a 2-2 draw against Man United.  Carl believes the ball hadn’t crossed the line before Casemiro’s controversially awarded opening goal.

Next up, another defeat for Wolves at Craven Cottage leaves relegation to the Championship looking increasingly likely, and Charlie asks: who would want to take VĂtor Pereira's job?

We then look to Tottenham, who were booed off at home after a 1-0 defeat to Maresca’s Chelsea. With images of Djed Spence and Micky van de Ven walking straight past Thomas Frank at full-time, is the Spurs boss losing the dressing room?

And finally, we ask, who’s to blame for the revival of long-ball football?

*At the time of recording, VĂtor Pereira had not yet been dismissed from his position at Wolves.
