Just two days after we officially got the word the US was pulling back in northern Syria,

the Turks are on their way in to no surprise.

The Turkish military operation in northern Syria has begun.

Turkish warplanes are already bombing civilian areas in the region.

President Erdogan of Turkey, who we've talked about earlier

in the week as being increasingly Islamist,

is trying to create what he calls an anti-terrorism

corridor by his southern border, which really means into northern Syria,

because he considers the Kurds terrorists who are trying to collude with Kurds in his own country

to create a breakaway nation or to just strike at Turkish interests.

A spokesperson for the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces says there's a huge

panic among people of the region because of these
