I'm certainly not grinning ear to ear because there was so much talk about tires today.

Yeah, we will do a tire special, but if you don't mind, we'll leave all the tire chat out of today's show.

What? I mean, yeah, I do kind of mind.

I'm only kidding. Of course, that will play a part in today's show.

I had to say I enjoyed that race because I couldn't call it.

I couldn't like predict what was going to happen.

I know it was a bit less complicated up front, but it was one of those races,

kind of like a Singapore or a Monaco, where for different reasons there, obviously,

drivers are hanging onto their tires and that kind of extends out that waiting period in the first stint.

And it can kind of kill the spectacle of a race.

And it was one of those races today, but it was still like a strategically tense race.

Yeah, and one of the things that's nice about this, like you say, that you don't always get,

is it wasn't just everyone riding around on train waiting for someone's tires to go pop.

We had some very different approaches to tire strategy in the race and it's going to be fun to talk about them.
