Being a visit on Wednesday to one of the hardest hit regions of southern Turkey, Recep

type Erdogan told reporters it was not possible to be prepared for a disaster this big.

All state institutions are working on the earthquake at the moment.

On the first day, we experienced some issues, but then on the second day, and today, the

situation has been taken under control, which will never allow our citizens to be left

out on the streets.

I'm asking our people not to give the provocateurs an opportunity and only pay attention to the

statements coming from the disaster management authority.

Today is a time of unity and solidarity.

Twitter access in Turkey is now reported to be restricted after many people vented their

anger on social media that help has either been too slow or not come at all.
