Huge news in the world of music as an arrest is made in the murder of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. One of the last living witnesses to the fatal 1996 drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas was charged Friday with murder with use of a deadly weapon in the killing of the rapper, a long-awaited breakthrough in a case that has frustrated investigators and fascinated the public ever since the hip-hop icon was gunned down 27 years ago. #BestGuest [https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/bestguest]: Retired Las Vegas Homicide Detective Phil Ramos was present for Tupac Shakur's autopsy. In his three-plus-decade career, Det. Ramos also worked undercover narcotics and infiltrated the Cuban mob. He's 3X Las Vegas Police Officer of the Year and a native Las Vegan. "Cathy" Scott is a Los Angeles Times and New York Times bestselling American true crime author and investigative journalist who penned the biographies and true crime books The Killing of Tupac Shakur and The Murder of Biggie Smalls, both bestsellers in the United States and United Kingdom, and was the first to report Shakur's death. Her hip-hop books are based on the drive-by shootings that killed the rappers six months apart in the midst of what has been called the West Coast-East Coast war. Each book is dedicated to the rappers' mothers. Jeff Wood, retired FBI Special agent out of Boston. Agent Wood focused on gangs and gang violence, and is a seasoned investigator. Both of Wood's parents served in Vietnam where they met and eventually had baby Jeff. Jeff also proudly served in the United States military.
