Summary
On this latest edition of Tunnel Vision USCFootball.com's Jack Smith, Ryan Abraham and Chris Trevino are in studio discussing one of the wildest USC football games in recent memory, a 43-41 triple overtime victory over Arizona late Saturday night in the Coliseum. Right out of the gate, the Trojans looked out of sorts from the jump on offense, defense and special teams including three-straight 3-and-outs for Caleb Williams and the offense and three-straight scores allowed by the defense. USC, which hadn't trailed at all through the first five games, was down 17-0 early in the second quarter with the game on the verge of being out of hand.
When the offense finally started to get on track with a huge pass to Brenden Rice, momentum shifted once again when Williams fumbled on the next play. Jacobe Covington made the play of the day with his interception, giving USC life and more importantly a short field. Williams was able to cut the deficit to a field goal at halftime, keeping the game from getting out of hand.
The guys talk about the Trojans comeback in the second half, that included an 8-point lead early in the fourth quarter, including USC's botched field goal attempt to win the game at the end of regulation and Williams winning the game in the third OT on his weird looking quarterback keeper play.

| 1:20.3 | at the end. But guys, it's another game where USC looks like they, you know, could win by a bigger |
| 1:25.8 | amount at some point. But it's kind of just a close finish at the end. This time was a little bit |
| 1:29.9 | different because they were down 17. Nothing. What was your biggest takeaway? And do you think |
| 1:33.3 | the Trozans can continue to sustain wins like this going into the hard part of the schedule? |
| 1:37.5 | Yeah. One thing USC fans, they got something different. This wasn't the same old same old build a |
| 1:42.3 | big lead blow. A lot of people were talking about, oh, bet USC in the first half. You didn't want to |
| 1:47.0 | do that in this one. Like Jack said, 17 nothing to start USC, not getting an offensive first down |
| 1:54.7 | outside of the penalty on the first three drives. Nine plays total. That's not good. No points. |
| 1:59.9 | Arizona scoring on their first three drives. That's not good. 17 nothing after having never |
| 2:06.8 | trailed all season. The only team at FBS that had never trailed and then was trailing most of the time. |
| 2:13.6 | And that became, you know, you're thinking about trying to get a victory. That's resounding. |
| 2:19.4 | Something that's going to make you feel good because it's the halfway point of the season. |
| 2:23.7 | And it gets a lot tougher from here on out. A lot of tough games, Notre Dame up next obviously. |
| 2:29.2 | So you wanted to get that was a guy like a get right game. You want to feel good about this. |
| 2:32.5 | Even though Arizona played Washington well, I held Michael Penex without a touchdown throw. |
| 2:38.7 | So you felt like everything was set up for this and man, it couldn't be anything further from |
| 2:42.6 | the truth. When USC took that 28 20 lead in the early of the fourth quarter, you're like, okay, |
| 2:47.0 | maybe they could like get a stop score touchdown. Get it, you know, and like actually win by a few |
| 2:52.6 | scores. No, that wasn't going to be the case. I would I tweeted out I'm like, Arizona's going to get |
