Hey y'all, happy Saturday SIP.

I am actually so excited to give you guys the Saturday SIP today because it's an

impromptu Saturday SIP.

I didn't even plan it. I don't even have my journal

in front of me, like, but I know that this

is the word that God wants me to share with you guys.

I pray that you guys had a good week. I pray that you guys have a better week next week, but for now I just got to get this word off my chest.

So today during my quiet time, I studied the story of David and what chapter I studied

then was first Samuel chapter 16 now this chapter talked about how God told

Samuel I'm going to send you to Jesse and you're going to

annoy him one of his sons and the first thing that the chapter talked about was

that when Samuel got to Jesse he saw Jesse's first son and like I

said I don't have my journal I don't have my Bible like I literally pulled to the side of the

road to record this okay like not the, not the road, like, but I pull it to the side. But, um, first thing he saw was Jesse's first son and God told him I don't look at the physical I don't look at

the outer appearance I look at the heart so the first note that I remember

writing down in my quiet time was don't trust your eyes in this season.

This season of your life you cannot trust what you see because what you see will deceive you. And I'm mad that I didn't record this after my

quiet time because I had like a cute little quote when I wrote it down but

whatever this is more authentic.

Don't trust your eyes in this season because your eyes will deceive you.
