Welcome back after a Memorial Day weekend, three days for some of you that are in the

federal service.

Some of you still have to keep working.

I understand that.

I decided I'd take a little time off, take an extra day.

And I really did get away from it yesterday. I don't know if any of you guys did this as well, but I kind of disconnected. I saw very little of social media. I didn't really want to see what was going on. The stuff I saw was ugly. There was a little bit of remembrances of people who remember those they've lost. It's a couple of really beautiful moments, I think, as well, that I saw this morning. Tulsi Gabbard took a trip to Arlington from a woman who posted something on

X, of all places, on Twitter, who said, I hope somebody will come and check in on the tombstone

for my husband. And it seems like that became a cause that people took up and went on.

And so that's great. I'm glad they did that. I'm glad people took a little time off.

I spent some time at a pool with my kiddos. I'll tell you one thing I saw. And this is just sort of

just a random observation. But there's a lot of men in my age bracket who have children, late 30s,

early 40s, and more and more of them are just absolutely covered with tattoos.

And I think that's actually a reflection of a generation that went to war and then what masculinity meant for the men that

are my age and a little bit younger and obviously a little bit older who saw soldiers and
