Since Deb is still on vacation, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to sneak

in a spooky show.

So for this week's episode, Olivia researched Tophas and I dug into doppelgangers.

Okay Olivia, you looked into Tophas, the idea that we can create something even a person

with the power of our concentrated thought.

Now, I first read this concept in Alexander David Neal's book called Mystery and Magic

Into Bed.

Can you start us off by telling us this Tophas story?

Sure, hello everyone.

So in her book she tells a few stories about Tophas.

There's one she writes about that centers on one of her servants.

He asked permission to visit his family for about three weeks but when he hadn't returned

after three months, Alexander started to get nervous.

One night she dreamed that he returned.

The next morning she and her maid were standing outside when they saw the servant at the

top of the hill.

She said that she was so relieved that he was okay and had come home but then he just disappeared.

They walked up to the hill but there was still no sign of him.

He did in fact return home the next day so she believed she saw a topa of him, a thought
