I'm told that Glacier is one of the most beautiful spots in the whole world, and I'm looking

forward to going there. I have been to some of these other places, Yellowstone and Jackson Hole

and some of these great places out west, and Jackson Hole and some of these great places

out west. But we miss you guys and thanks for thinking about us on vacation. We're in Psalm 1 today.

And wow, what a powerful introduction to this book in the Bible, this compilation of poems and songs and prayers that real people like you and me

offered to God. And here they are for us to look at, to meditate upon, to draw encouragement from.

And Psalm 1 is one of those encapsulating Psalms that

really help us, it helps us to see what the blessed life looks like and what the ungodly life

that is so readily available and chosen by so many, unfortunately, what it looks like as well.

So last episode, we talked a bit about what the blessed man does not do.

Blessed is a man that doesn't get counsel from the ungodly and behave that way, nor stand in the way of sinners,

nor sit in the seat of the scornful. But, so there's the contrast. But verse number two,
