0:39.5 | Glad that you joined us. We're in Genesis 27 today. And a famous passage, I think you'll see that |
0:46.3 | as it unfolds. And we want to talk about the blessing today, the blessing. So we know that |
0:52.8 | Esau unwisely traded his birthright for that bowl of soup, |
0:58.5 | but the dad, Isaac, still retained the prerogative to bless one of his children. Now, |
1:05.9 | obviously we know that Isaac favors Esau and he wants to bless Esau. And the blessing was an important thing. |

1:19.9 | prosperity, this is a blessed future. It was something no doubt that the sun would prize above all things. And even though Esau had unwisely |

1:38.1 | And Genesis chapter 27 marks the time when that blessing finally would be realized in Esau's life. Watch what it says in verse one. |
