And the show starts right now and we always start with the top story I'm not

going to spend a lot of time on this today because I ran it all down yesterday

but the story that will dominate news today will be tonight's presidential debate the first

between VP Harris and former President Trump. Again it starts at 9 o'clock

Eastern you can watch on ABC Disney Plus and. It honestly might be the only debate

between the two of them.

No others have been confirmed.

But after this one on October 1st,

the Vice presidential candidates

will take the stage.

Governor Tim Walz and Senator J.D. Vance will meet for a debate.

Again, that's happening October 1st.

All right, okay, on the sports.

Last night on Monday Night Football, the 49ers hosted the Jets.

Season opener for both teams.

If you remember, last year, Aaron Rogers tore his Achilles minutes into the first game, and he missed the rest of the year.

Last night, he tried it again, and he did it. He got through his first entire game as a jet.
