Hi everyone. Welcome back to the daily gospel exegesis podcast where we look at the gospel

reading for today's Catholic Mass and we attempt to do a verse-by-verse exegesis of the text,

so really getting into it, trying to work out what the original author was trying to get at.

Today's text in particular is a bit of a difficult one, and I think you'll see the value

in doing a verse-by-verse exegesis on a text like this, otherwise it could lead to misinterpreting the text. So if you enjoy what

happy the man who will be at the feast in the kingdom of God.

But he said to him,

there was a man who gave a great banquet, and he invited a large number of people.

When the time for the banquet came, he sent his servant to say to those who had been invited,

Come along, everything is ready now.
