The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know. The female recovery team in North Carolina has been forced to evacuate for their safety.

Their safety from humans.

It is not weather related.

The U.S. Forest Service sent a message to warn all federal emergency management agency responders

in Rutherford County, North Carolina, to stand

down and evacuate immediately. Soldiers with the National Guard had recently come across two trucks

of armed militia saying they were out hunting FEMA. I wish this wasn't real life, but it is.

Not only is it awful that FEMA workers are in danger,

but people who are in desperate need of their help aren't going to get it right now.

Rutherford County is home to the mountain towns, which were badly hit and are in major need of help. If you are in one of these eight states or Washington, D.C., please pay attention and register to vote because today might be your last day to do so.

I say might because in some states, you still will be able to register in person or fill out extra paperwork by Election Day if you miss today's deadline.

So here is how it all breaks down. If you're in Kansas, New Jersey, Oregon, or West Virginia,

today is your absolute last day to register. There are no other options. That's it. That's all.
