| 0:00.0 | It's Tuesday, November 8, 2022. |
| 0:07.7 | I'm Albert Molar, and this is The Briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from |
| 0:12.0 | a Christian worldview. |
| 0:13.5 | Well, it's election day in the United States, but make no mistake, and I say this with regret |
| 0:18.8 | it may be sometime until we know exactly what the returns will be, and what the results |

| 1:07.2 | That is a part of the social compact of living in an electoral system of self-government. |
| 1:12.9 | In such a system, every single citizen who has the right to vote, thus has a stewardship |
| 1:18.6 | that even if unexercised is still very significant, the math is still very, very |
| 1:24.5 | important. |
| 1:25.5 | Your vote really does matter. |
