This is first thing with Kevin Mano, some celebrity birthdays. Today, actress Shaline Woodley,

rapper B.O.B. Chad Kroger from Nickelback, and Sam Waterston from Law and Order. He is 82

today. Happy birthday to all y'all. And on this date in movie history, 26 years ago today,

at other childhood fave of mine hit theaters, I have real memories of seeing it in the theater,

which is crazy. Michael Jordan and his co-star Bugs Bunny, the best on-screen duo I had ever seen.

Space Jam was released on the state in 1996. I still haven't seen the LeBron version, but I sure

love the MJ one.

All right, let's go. Let's get into it. We always start with the top story. Today,

just a quick look at the political landscape. It seems that Republicans are on the cusp of

securing control of the house. We should possibly get the official word today. One of the big ones

that was trending on night was Democrat Katie Hobbs win over Kerry Lake in Arizona's race for

governor. There were a lot of eyes on that one. It's over. Yesterday, President Biden had a three-hour

meeting with Xi Jinping, the president of China, a statement from the White House said,

President Biden and President Xi reiterated their agreement that a nuclear war should never

be fought and can never be won. Somebody please tell Kim Jong-un, okay? That meeting took place in

Indonesia. They're both there for the G20 summit. A ton of world leaders are gathering to chat

about the fate of the world, climate change, rising food prices, all that stuff.

In other news, former Vice President Mike Pence and former First Lady Michelle Obama both

have new books out today. They're both steamy romance novels. Who would have thought? No, kidding,
