Adrina Patridge is a year older as is Rosario Dawson, Andrew WK,

John Corbett from Sex and the City. He's Aiden and the piano man himself, Billy Joel.

He's 74 today. In TV history today is the anniversary of the final

episode of the Golden Girls and aired on May 9, 1992, 31 years ago.

Still considered one of the best sitcoms of all time.

Okay, all right. Let's jump in a quick look at all the headlines across the board.

We always start with the top story and today it's about the Golden Boys.

A couple guys that aren't friends. Today is a very important day here in the US.

President Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy as well as some other top leaders

are getting together to discuss our debt situation.

Biden and McCarthy don't exactly get along and they can't seem to compromise on anything.

So we'll see how this goes today. Can they negotiate some sort of plan to increase the debt limit?

Are they going to cut spending? The Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen said

the government could run out of cash as early as June 1st.

That's not great. So we kind of need them to figure something out.

Defaulting on these payments could really negatively impact our economy here in the near future.

While it's doubtful that they'll reach any sort of resolution today we can still hope for some sort of progress from their meeting.
