Over 100 years ago, the black citizens of Tulsa, Oklahoma, were attacked by their

white neighbors who burned their homes, vandalized their businesses, and even took the lives

of many of the residents of the city on two fateful days in the late spring of 1921.

And there's still a chance that the three remaining survivors of that dark day in

American history might see some sort of justice in their lifetime. Last week, an Oklahoma

judge ruled to allow a lawsuit seeking reparations for survivors and descendants of the massacre

to proceed. There's still a long way to go before this case is settled,

and the attorney who filed the lawsuit hopes that, unlike other clients,

they had represented in this case for the last 20 years,

the last three survivors can actually witness the end of this case,

and hopefully some justice.
