Are you willing to stand on your next flight in exchange for a cheaper ticket? That might be a legitimate

question you have to answer in the somewhat

near future. Now, standing might not be the best way to describe these new seats. It's more like

leaning with a bike seat kind of thing between your legs. Pictures of these weird standing airplane

seats have been floating around the internet for a couple of years, but apparently they

just cleared some regulatory process that could allow them to actually be installed and used on flights.

And there's still a bunch of questions, right? How much are we going to save if we choose the standing

seat? Where does our carry-on bag go? Are we even allowed to bring one? And how long are you expected to stand?
