How many times have you talked about something and then you're scrolling on your phone

and you see an ad for it? It's creepy and it happens all the time. That's because Siri was

allegedly eavesdropping when she shouldn't have been.

If you've owned a Siri-enabled device, like an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch, or even an Apple TV,

between September of 2014 and December of 2024, you could be eligible for a payout from Apple's $95 million settlement.

A lawsuit claimed that Siri may have been a little too good at listening.

She was picking up private conversations and allegedly sharing that info with third-party

companies who then used it to target users with ads.

Apple has not admitted any wrongdoing but did agree to settle. If you've experienced

Siri accidentally turning on during a private combo, you could get up to $20 per device

at a max of $100 if you have five Siri enabled gadgets. I have four, which means I could get

$80. You may have received an email or a postcard with a claim number, but even if you didn't,

you can still file online.
