New York Attorney General Letitia James announced new state legislation yesterday that will

expand abortion access by providing financial aid to low-income New Yorkers and people who

travel here from out of state for reproductive procedures.

This will make New York the second state after Oregon to establish a public fund for abortion.

So I think we may have found a season 2 character arc from Miranda Hobbs.

And as a New Yorker, this is the first time I'm actually okay with tax dollars being

diverted away from subway improvement.

As we enter the third month of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, President Biden signed

a bill yesterday that will expedite the process of sending military aid to Ukraine and gives

Biden authority to expedite agreements with European countries.

Only 10 members of Congress voted against the bill, including Marjorie Taylor Greene,

Matt Gaetz, Paul Govstar, Andy Biggs, and Thomas Massey.

They're too busy fighting their own war against reality, which requires all the resources

they can muster.

According to the National Weather Service, swaths of the Southwestern United States are

its severe fire risk this week.
