I always start with the top stories and even though the world seems to be getting so distracted by that slap, the Oscars, the war in Ukraine is still the biggest story out there. It's brutal. The major story today is the city of Mary Opel. The mayor of that city has called for a complete evacuation as it has been taken.

Over by Russian forces 90% of residential buildings have been damaged or destroyed and according to new reports nearly 5,000 have died in that city since the attack began more than a month ago. Unreal. Another story that came out yesterday said that Ukrainian peace negotiators along with a Russian billionaire who has spoken out against Putin. His name is Roman Abramovich. Well, they may have been poisoned. They apparently had red eyes and peeling skin. And while the story came out yesterday. This happened earlier in the month. And I

think that the story was a little bit more than their conditions have since improved. The latest round of peace talks are scheduled for this morning in Turkey.

Let's go. All right, moving into sports. The women's march madness tournament continued last night. Now the final four is set. Louisville beat Michigan. And we'll now advance to play South Carolina. Meanwhile, number two Connecticut upset number one NC state. It was a close one. Double overtime. Yush.

We're going to play Stanford. Both of those final four games will happen on Friday with the championship game scheduled for Sunday by then will be into April. So do we call it March, man to say Mar April, April anger, April aggression. I don't know. I'll keep thinking about it. Nobody cares. But me, but I'll come up with something.

Four games will happen on Saturday. It's going to be a big weekend in other sports news. The NFL is reportedly developing its own paid streaming service. Do we really need another one of these? I guess it would be called NFL plus and it would include games, radio podcasts and team content.

All right, here we go. In entertainment news again, the slap just dominating the news cycle right now. This can be talked about and argued and analyzed for a while. But here's the latest Will Smith did issue an apology yesterday. It started with quote violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable.

He went on to say quote, I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There's no place for violence in a world of love and kindness. At the end of the statement, he said he regrets his behavior and added that he is a work in progress. We all are. By the way, according to a survey 61% of Americans think Will was wrong to slap Chris and 21% said he was right.

The rest were undecided, I guess a story came out yesterday that did he said the two men patch things up after the show that night and there was no beef. Other sources, however, say they never met up or talk behind the scenes of the show and that Will's apology yesterday was his first attempt to even reach out.

There's a TikTok video going around now that was filmed days before the award show of Jada saying she doesn't quote give two craps what people think of her hair, which as you know was the catalyst for this whole thing, her suffering from alopecia. And there are also reports that Chris Rock did not know about her condition when he made that joke.

And tickets for his upcoming comedy tour apparently surged big time since this all happens Sunday night ratings for the show in general were up quite a bit over the previous years historically low ratings. It was still the second lowest rated Oscars ever, but up quite a bit from the previous year.

And I don't know what all this entails, but the Academy has condemned Will's actions and have launched a formal review.

There you go caught up moving on to a couple more entertainment headlines. There is one guy out there that's probably pretty happy about that slap.

Nicholas Shay the same night Sunday night he had an altercation with a photographer and allegedly tried to rip a phone out of her hands while she was in a car.

The stories kind of been buried thanks to Will Smith, Nick tweeted about the incident saying that he clearly overreacted he said it was stupid of him.

Sean Penn is back in Ukraine. He's there on behalf of his organization core trying to help the people fleeing the country.

Kim Kardashian is apologizing for her people just need to get up and work comments that kind of went viral recently she said it was taken out of context.

In some relationship news Jason Momoa confirmed that he and Lisa Bonay are not getting back together. There had been reports that he moved back in and they were trying to make it work, but he said it's not true.

He was positive about it though he said quote we're family we have two beautiful children together we're family forever.

Also could be nothing but I guess Jason Momoa and Kate Beckinsale were quite shummy at an Oscar's after party.

He even gave her his massive jacket to stay warm and the weight of it sadly crushed her. Rest in peace Kate Beckinsale.
