from a trip to California. And my wife is driving me home. It's 10 o'clock at night. But I wanted to

get you at least a podcast for tomorrow. So we're in Matthew 13 and verse 47 where the Bible says,

again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net that was cast into the sea

and gathered of every kind, every kind of fish, which when it was full,

they drew to shore and sat down and gathered the good

into vessels, but cast the bad away. Now, before we go into Jesus' explanation of this, you can only

imagine how relevant this would have been to Peter, Andrew, James, and John because they were

fishermen. So as Jesus describes the kingdom of heaven, he's talking about a fishing net that

catches all kinds of different fish, but of course we know that not all the fish that would be

caught in that net would be

usable for food or whatever. Some would just be cast away. And that's the point because he says in

verse 49, so shall it be at the end of the world.

The angels shall come forth and sever or separate the wicked from among the just.

And so cast them into the furnace of fire.
